Is homework necessary?

First, I’ll explain to you what is homework? Is
homework necessary?
Homework is the task had been given by the teacher in
the school commonly for their student to do it at home. For student homework is something
usual. Homework given by teacher to improve our competencies
in subject. Homework have to do in their home. As you see student have
different perspective, some half think that the homework is needed and the rest
not. Student whose agree think that homework give a lot of benefit, and some half useless. These is some
argument “Is homework necessary?”.
The student
whose agree think that homework is needed, they can improve their agility problem
solving. With homework they had time to study more, learn more and not wasting
time with useless something, kind of playing game. Homework not only doing by
themself, but they can ask someone to teach them. For that they learn
more from different people. They can learn more different technical solving.
The other
student think homework is needed just for particular subject, such as
mathemathic, biology, chimie, physic, english and bahasa. They think it’s more
effective for develop their agility in six subject. The “six subject” is the
main lesson that will be testing in National Examination.
Student get
some excercise and they can prepare the next chapter in their subject. For
example teacher give homework for next chapter, the purpose of the homework is
student have study the next chapter in their home. So, the next day student easily
to understand what the teacher saying. Homework used by teacher for one method
to estabilish of their responsibility. It will effectively when the teacher
check their job, and give apropriate for what they’ve done.
And student
whose disagree think that homework is useless something. Why? Because they have
already many task. A lot of them do the homework at school. Why they not do it
at home? There are many argument, they are too lazy for that, they haven’t much
time to do, they can’t solve it by her/him-self. Homework, it just a little one
task, they think. They think they have already get enough curriculum subject at
school, so homework is not necessary. Some think that they can improve agility
of problem solving same time with the teacher saying and explain.
Teacher whose
disagree have different thinking, they think if the homework already given. The
next day, big a part of student not done yet. So they do everything, for
example they cheat the answer from their friend who already done. Absolutely
it’s not fair, the teacher think if it just let away, it will be the starts of
corruption. And it will impact of their future.
So far,
homework is big controversy at school, even the higher. From the two side of
view, i agree if homework is given by teacher. It will improve our skill, but
the homework must do it by ourself and keep trying. Perfect practice makes
perfect.
